You could always mass convert into a dink accepted color pallet.
yeah if you open any original dink graphics in photoshop, you can save the color palette (table) as a file and convert any picture to that
Hopefully the shadows are correct on whatever you end up converting though, otherwise you dun goofed. Horse looks nice though, I'd bet the farm on that shit. Provided I had a farm and was at a derby and that horse was racing.

when i render the original thing in 3ds max the shadow is set to a color like, hot pink/lime green
then i quickly open the frame, i set keyboard shortcuts to things akin to "set the palette", and i have my paintbucket tool set to a checkerboard pattern and just color over the shadow, and tada, it's done
just gotta do that.. over and over... and over again
