How long does it usually take for a review to get checked (that is,either accepted or rejected) ?

A few days at most, usually much less than that.

what about screenshots, and do you guys check Dmods then reject or accept them?

Ah, well Scratcher will look at it when he feels like it.

Everything gets checked before being availeable for view/download. It says so in the contributions section.

You can click on 'Contribute' and then 'View' to see the status of your contributions, whether they are accepted, rejected or pending. Usually the staff will leave some comments about why they reject something there as well. So if your review is rejected, you can see why!

I was hoping to be able to submit games for people to play without having to resort to Dropbox or a different site, but stuff happens and will happen.

Nah, just trying to get my works out there. I'm planning on making my own gaming company.

I'd like to do that too and I may have to sell insurance to make my dream come true, but we all have to start honing our skills somewhere, can we use the term dinkerest here?
