Comfort games
Comfort food is food you eat to make yourself feel good. What games do you play over and over just to relax with?
Portal is like this for me. I played both games recently, and since then I've been doing community test chambers for Portal 2. They're bite sized bits gaming that do make me think but usually not too hard, and they don't make me tense like a FPS might.

I used to play Portal 2 a lot when I was feeling down. It's such an amazing game. The Mass Effect Trilogy was another one. But after like 20 playthroughs they lost their ability to help because I know basically everything about the games so it's just boring at this point. These days its up to Minecraft, random Xbox 360 games I have, and my music projects.
Forum Fantasy is a fun little one, Shadow of the Colossus is another. Any skating game is this to me, NieR for the 360 is another, Thief: Deadly Shadows (Barring any and all levels with zombies in them, save the Hammer cathedral) is another one.
A game that I played over and over? Binding of Isaac and Super Meat Boy.
Daaaaaamn you, Edmund McMillen!

I don't know if I have any. I don't replay many games. Though I'll replay any game when in the company of a friend. I need to buy some new games.
@Kris
Are you excited for the new Thief game? It looks pretty awesome to me.

The new Thief looks amazing. It's a game I'm definitely getting when it comes out. I can't wait to try it
There are plenty of games I've played 20 times or more. Half Life 2 is a good example, and it's so fun. The first Mass Effect I believe I did like 9 playthroughs. I was addicted, and now I'm finally burnt out lol, but the games are just spectacular.

I like nethack. It's a console-based single-player[1] game, which obviously has terrible graphics (every "thing" is one character, your avatar is "@" for example). And there is no sound. But that doesn't matter; it has humor, and so much complexity and detail you wouldn't imagine from such a setting. It uses generated dungeons, so it's different every time, but the generators are really good so it isn't just randomness.
And best of all, game time only counts when you do things. You can take all the time you want to contemplate your next action, and the monsters will wait. You can even save the game and go to sleep. Which is a very good idea if you notice you're getting reckless; otherwise you'll soon be dead...
[1] It's called "nethack" because it was developed by people communicating over the internet, not because it's a networked game. Yes, it is so old that communicating over internet was something special.

Used to be dink but alas i seem to have drifted onwards from that
nowdays its nethack, terraria and path of exile lol - i think because you can mindlessly go thru them if u know them well - nethack has a windows version and you are a little 8 bit thing that faces the front regardless of which way you are moving - its terribly intricate and has amazing depth for such an old game (tho it was being updated occasionally by the community - i prefer the crappy graphics to the symbols because when i started playing it i started with the graphical version (and i use graphical in very very loose terms lol) For me its easier to know whats there if its pictorial (I am a visual person)
I love crafting games so OH GAWD HELP ME - I also play around with farmville on facebook haha total mindless rubbish that takes none of your precious cells to do

The most comfort game for me has to be Super Metroid and various hacks of it. I know the game very well and can do some ridiculous stuff in it and beat it so many different ways, so it still stays fun even after so many play-throughs.
