What is your favourite faction.
My favourite is Protoss becauseey the best ,They have sheilds which regenerate instantly, Epic ambient soundtrack,the unit qoutes,Best lore,Photon cannons which can attack both air and ground,High templar psionic storm which can be extremely devestating if used properly,Zealot which are alomost 4x times stonger then zerglings and 2 maybe even 3x then Marines,Dark templar which do 45 damage in the oginal campaign and 40 in brood war,Scouts which their powerful anti air attack,Archons which do high splash damage,Dark Archons which can use feedback maelstorm and mind constrol units from other factions.
And other reasons

I prefer the Protoss as well.
One of my favourite units is the Dragoon Its perhaps the most underated unit in the game due to it being near impossible to move it up a ramp but if microed properly it can be very effect espiscially agiasnt Mutalisks.
I think what I like most about Starcraft - the original at least; I STILL haven't played SC2 - is that all the factions are equally awesome, in my opinion. There really isn't a particular one that I always gravitate toward.

I just use whatever I'm best at for the time. Sometimes it's Protoss and sometimes Terran. Usually not Zerg, although Zerg is still really cool and balanced. I just haven't had good enough practice making any strategies for them, so I don't choose them often.
