Why in the name of heaven and hell can't I pick Milder's goddang hammer up?! I checked the script of the hammer, and it was a clusterduck. But even after I fixed the script, I still can't pick it up. What the hell is going on? This D-Mod is a bugfest!

You obviously didn't fix it very well

Sorry, I have no idea. Also obviously. Unhelpful I know...

Well, I fixed the obvious stuff, such as "void main" and some brackets missing. Thought that might help. But nothing works. As if the whole thing didn't have a script attached to it.

Because I shrank the hammer, it made touching it a little more difficult. You pick it up to the south of it. <SIGH> I think bugfest is a bit much but if you want to "fix" it, change the sprite size to 100 instead of 70. I have a new version but haven't uploaded it yet. Thanks for your support.

I may have come across a bit harsh, but this D-Mod does have a lot of errors. I don't mind a challenge, but when the challenge is based on how buggy the game is, it pisses me off.

I actually remember the original Dorinthia being much less buggy, and I sucked at playing Dink back then.

There are minor things but nothing that should take away from you being able to beat the game. What is a lot of errors? To be honest, I have been blown away by how intolerant everyone is. These DMOD's are a ton of work and time. You know Skull that after a while you just can't look at these same screens anymore. Back in 2000, I had a ton of people help me test. It STILL had some issues then but I fixed them quickly. I feel as though I've done that this time around as well.

Truth is, I shouldn't have to explain myself as we're all a community of people who like playing the game. We try. We create. We enjoy. Getting pissed off makes little sense to me.

I assure you EVERYONE here knows how hard it is to create and especially finish d-mods. All authors here are respected members. Not everyone will always give the feedback you want, but the fact that Skull tries to fix a bug by himself shows you how dedicated he is to playing your d-mod I'd take it as a compliment Bugfest was a harsh word, but the use of the word surely can't outweigh the fact that he's taking the effort to post about it here?

I hear you Kyle. Not a matter of just wanting to listen to rainbows and lollipops ... If I've screwed up I'll readily fix it. I will admit to being overly sensitive at the moment due to unrelated personal things. I uploaded my new version but do hope that Skull can pass me his pain points so I can fix them as well.

Even though creating these DMOD's is a tough process... It is a ton of fun isn't it?

I didn't mean to come out that harsh. Truth is, I wasn't having that great of a time when I posted that, also due to personal things. I was trying to get my mind off of thing by playing this D-Mod, but figured I couldn't cause of those bugs. That's why I got pissed off. I do know how hard it is to create a D-Mod, but (once again not trying to sound like an ass) I personally think you could have done a better job at testing this one.

The biggest errors I found:
-If you're unlucky enough to kill certain Pillbugs last in the beginning of the game, you're gonna get stuck in a screenlock.
-If you kill the guards in the part where you can choose to fight or run away from them, you're gonna screw up the game, which rises the question of why should there even be a choice.
-The two guards guarding the house Milder is in, can kill each other. I have a strange feeling they shouldn't be able to die.
-This hammer thing I mentioned.

There are more smaller ones, but I figured that would be nitpicking. What troubles me that I've already come over 4 serious bugs and I'm just at the beginning of the game. I'm not saying this as an insult, but more as a concerned player.

No worries Skull...honestly. I've fixed the pill bug issue. Its in the new version.

I made some errors in allowing you to choose when there really is no choice at all. Thought it was a good idea to ease you into the game but realized people want o kill stuff. I had big problems trying to get those guards to NOT kill each other and not just there. Really annoying how they kill each other.

No excuses on the testing. I played the darn thing for months. The real problem was me not utilizing beta testers to get them to find errors based on how THEY played it. I learned a valuable lesson there which I won't repeat.

Playing Historical Heroes I now. Very cool.
