The Dink Network

I was messing around with my bio when I saw this option: Dink Network Messenger: Enable/Disable
I turned it off, but it appears to just turn right back on. Is this something from when the site was new? I have no idea what it is.

Must have been a prototype chat system; maybe one of those that rests at the bottom of the page. It's possible it was unimplemented when the IRC channel "#dinksmallwood" was created.

Nah, it's the old PM system. It was separate from the forum, like what you get on most of the rest of the internet. There was also a limit on how many PMs you could have at one time (50? I think?). *shudder*

That system sucked. I'm glad it was changed to the current system soon after I joined.

I liked the old one, was much more personal.

I did, however, like the old account page though. Wish we could get that one back.
