Free Bananas
I'm giving away bananas! But there's a catch (isn't there always?), I'm giving them away in Kingdom of Loathing. I scanned the forum and see there's at least a couple KoL players here, so tell me your KoL name or message me (ManaUser) over there and I'll give you a free banana!
For those unfamiliar, it's a free browser-based game, not entirely unlike RTSoft's first game, Legend of the Red Dragon, but much more complex. It has a quirky sense of humor (not quite as quirky as Seth's, of course), and even crappier graphics than Dink, so it should appeal to the same audience. If you decide to sign up, the banana offer still stands of course. I could probably even help you get started in some actually useful way too.

How can everybody say Dink has crappy graphics? It has pretty realistic graphics compared to most other RPGs.
How can people keep saying Dink has realistic graphics?
Dink has good graphics for a independent 90's game.
Well, at least it has more realistic graphics than those horrible Japanese ones that were used by most RPGs around those times. Games such as Final Fantasy, Wild ARMs and Chrono Trigger used those graphics. The graphics weren't necessarily bad but Dink certainly has more realistic graphics.
Anyway, I'll shuddap now. What was the topic again?

The graphics were horrible but not necessarily bad? I'd say they were just a different style. I think they were aiming to be like cartoons rather than something realistic. There's nothing bad about that. I like it.
This is probably the first time a thread about bananas has been derailed into discussing Dink.
