This guy tells it how it is
Sopa was shelved indefinitely. A new, similar law called ACTA is trying to be passed internationally.
I don't get it. These guys use Internet as much as we do, yet they're hellbent on shutting the Internet down (cause that is what's gonna happen if they win). Once they have won, they'll realize what they have done. I think it's basically because they got mad at life, and decided they want to make other people miserable. And now they just *need* to get their laws through.
They're basically sociopaths. They want to make other people sad and miserable, and take away all their fun, just cause they feel like their life has not been good enough. Although it had to have been, otherwise they wouldn't be able to get this far with their stupid laws.

I'm sick of hearing about this. It won't happen.
I think it's safe to say it will happen sooner or later. I'd say we're lucky if we manage to dodge it for another 5 years. Hell, 5 months would be good at this point.
It took the efforts of thousands upon thousands of internet users to stall it. Sooner or later they will give up. Focus your energy on our true enemy: ACTA, the corrupt senate, and Obama and his legion of RIAA scumbags.
Not to mention, that the corporations must be stopped as well. Apparently, they've pretty much bought the senate. Hollywood especially must be stopped! Money shall not equal power!
Revolution!

Anyone can make a law Obama has nothing yo do with it really less he wants to.
Actually he does. Obama supports ACTA. He gave RIAA the power and money to pass it.
Obama even said he doesn't support SOPA but will sign it if it reaches his desk.

That sounds more like the pressure to deal with a controversial bill.
No, it sounds like one of his many lies.
Presidents lie its expected of them maybe not by people outside of the government but people want to see stuff happen and when there's nothing you can do about it you lie your arse off till you can.
That's what's sad. A president should always be honest.
i dont think men shouldve started ruling over other men in the first place...
Unless of course that man was masterchief....

It doesn't matter at all what Obama says. Presidents don't have any power.
I guess I should have said "we're lucky to survive another 5 days", cause Megaupload just made a great update on their site.
Check it out.
Check it out.
That's old news. Besides, Megaupload was a criminal project.
TPB is technically not illegal, luckily, as it doesn't sell the files being shared. It gets all of its money through donations and its t-shirts.
I'm not sure about Megaupload, though.

TBP? Thyroxine-Binding Protein?
