I just bought the cd,is it any good?
Wouldn't it have been more sensible to ask before you bought it?
My friend likes it and has been making maps for it. He showed me a little of the map editor, and I got a little envious. Shevek's editor is making me feel better.
I remember playing it awhile ago. It's nothing special but still pretty kick ass.
I played it today.The hero refuses to move after a bit of walking.How can you make him move again?
It's a turn-based game, so you have to end your turn by clicking the hourglass.

I played HoMM2 a bit back in 2000 or so, and occasionally since then. I still enjoy playing it. The third one is supposed to be the best of all of them, I think, but I've never played it.
HoMM6 (titled Might & Magic Heroes VI) comes out next month. It features fancy 3D graphics which look quite nice, but I'm not sure I like the mythology or creature designs.
