I just started playing dink and I am at the part where i try to kill jack(I can't do it, his too strong), are you supposed to?

lvl up and kill him

Use the hit and retreat strategy. Also, since it's inside, try using the decoration to block him.

You *can* kill him, but you don't *have to* kill him. It's not essential to the story or anything. But personally, when I do it, I buy a bomb from the weapons shop and try to time it so that Jack walks into it just when it goes off. That'll either kill him instantly or leave him so weak that you can kill him with one or two punches or slashes from your sword.

First time when I played Dink Smallwood, I bought herb boots so that Jack had no chance of touching me.. And oh yea, I also tried to punch him through the wall. Worked great.

I always just kept hitting with a fireball for a couple of minutes.

I dont remember how i killed him but i remember it was easy ((cuse i look everywhere and kill everything))

i used the rain spell after a fire ball spell and it worked pretty easily, like someoone else said get him trapped by something so he'll keep running int ot he water

I hit him with a sword,I used Acid Rain twice and presto
DEAD

Yeah, I looked and thought "Whoa! Alli's back!". But she isn't...
