Tuska Open Air Metal Festival 2011
So, was anyone (Finnish, or non) at the three-day Tuska 2011 Festival in Helsinki, Finland (Suvilahti to be exact, heh)? I was there on Saturday to see Blind Guardian, which kicked ass as much as I've seen on YouTube. This was the first time seeing them, and the first time I've been to a music festival since I was 16. As I remembered, I couldn't hear anything for the next hour after being there, but that didn't really matter. I also saw some other good bands. Two Swedish bands, other one I forgot, other one was Ghost. Then I saw a Finnish band called Winter's Sun, which was quite horrible and Enslaved, which was even worse. Also bought a Blind Guardian shirt.
Was anyone else there?

I was
... not. But Blind Guardian would have tempted me, if I lived anywhere near Finland. I really liked that Wheel of Time one you linked to. I've been showing it to people.

They played Wheel of Time there. I was wishing them to play some older stuff more but they decided to go with the new stuff in about half of the songs. Too bad they only had an hour to play. Anyway, at least I got to see The Bard's Song and Mirror Mirror live, which are much better live than on their albums. The crowd also kept repeating the chorus of Valhalla for the next ten minutes after they had stopped playing the song, preventing them from moving on.
I never been one for the metal music, but at least I can accept it. Some "VERY" religius people on turkey, thinks metal music listeners as satanics. Really, at first they even said bicycle is the car of the devil. I hate zealots...
Bicycle is the car of the devil? Buahaha! Bicycles are good, better than cars I daresay.
Those people are narrow-sighter, and just plain idiotic, Killersong. The only reason they say that, is because they don't like the music. Those people should be put into a room with good metal music playing 24/7. Really, those kinda people piss me off. They always bring religion into something it has nothing to do with, just so people would listen to them.
