Sorry Msdink, but that's wrong - every revolution started by whining people and nothing is ever changed by sweeping the problem under the rug.

This is a good point, I'd say. So I think people shouldn't be banned for expressing unpopular opinions. But people can still ignore them or tell them their own opinions in reply, which could include, "You should go away." Unfortunately, it makes the forum more unpleasant to have those kinds of messages flying back and forth.
