Where the hee-haw can I find the 5th mushroom? I've been running around in circles, talked to everyone I can - please HELP before I just stop and eat the 4 I have 
The mushrooms are in and around the village. I don't know which ones you have but search every screen near the village for the mushrooms. If you still can't find them, just let me know (reply).

I found 4 already, the only visable ones left are the one up near the cave, but I can't pick it up and another one stuck in the rocks, can't get it - what's next??

Nevermind - found the mysterious little bugger hiding in the trees - thanks 
One is up by the mayors house
one is one screen down from the well
one is outside the witches house
one is under a tree by the bar
and one is by 2 monsters by rocks west of the wiches house

i had the same prob
i went on dinkedit placed a muchroom and gave it the script mush hehehehehe

That's not how you're supposed to play the game! The least you could've done is using this walkthrough
