A simple question
How many zeroes in a billion?
No, you were 'right' the first time. Good observation, though.
I want to see how many people say '9' or '12'.
I want to see how many people say '9' or '12'.
I thought zero because the o is an 'oh' (letter) not a zero (number)?
Turn one billion light years into regular years and tell me how many zeros are in it.
I don't think there are many English-speaking places where the long scale is still commonly used. It's a bit tricky to get used to for me as Dutch uses long scale. Though I've just learnt by heart that a billion in English has 9 digits, for larger numbers it takes some difficulty going back and forward though...
heh thought u meant the word *face palm*
Me too. It was a trick question pretending to be a trick question!!
