The area below Firewood
Pilgrim's Quest
This question has been up before :
How do you get into the area below Firewood?
The answer was :
There is a gap in the trees, and before you meet Stella.
Where is that gap? I can't find a gap although I have walked along the edge of the lower trees in Firewood.

heh. Before you meet Stella, and before you get to Firewood. When Dink is all big-and-bad at the very beginning of the game, you can go to that area and find a luck potion or two (I think). But that's about it. You can't get there after you've reached Firewood.
Oh, you mean meeting Stella in the prologue...... I thought Dink should run into her before going to the Machine Mnt. and then finally rescue her at the end of the game.
But are we talking about the same area? I mean that very very long path leading to "Ghenahv ???" (hard to read the letters on the map), behind the "wooden wall" in Firewoods.
Now I don't remember the names in the prologue but, at one point Dink can't go south because he has already been there. A little later on he can't go east because some rocks blocking the road, and a sign says something like a warning for passing the rocks and move on.
Is that what you mean? I could not find a way to move on to any of these areas......

Yep, that's what I meant. If you take the left path at the very beginning, the path turns south, but you can keep going left on that screen by walking behind the trees. There really isn't anything interesting there, except the luck potions (or potion, I know there is at least one).
Thanks, now I can move on the Machine Mnt. for the second time, without spending hours trying to figure out how to get "through the wooden wall".
