The walkthrough says I need a Luck of 7 and I have 8 but I'm still not damaging it using the water magic.

Maybe you need more magic ability(about 13, I think...).

Plft, I didn't use magic when defeating him. Just equip the light sword and go hack him down!

That's exactly what I did, but as the light sword is a bit expensive, maybe Gooberslot didn't want to buy it.

You dont need to buy the light sword, you need only to bomb a section when you are entering the tunnel. if you look carefully, one section just isnt right. bomb it, get the sword and lots of potions!

to need for a light sword!hers n(not sure) i think that luck 7 is used to use confusion magic. and i did beat it using a clawsword and 30 elixirs.... if you loook the walkthrough it says that ice armour helps

haha..just equip ur ice armour and u can kill it easily
