I'm back ... with some news.
I've been missing my time at the DinkNetwork.... not. Everything comes down to spam now, everyone says "your religion is no good!" It wasn't like this when I joined. So I will post occasionally from now on. Have to say Valkyria CHroicles 2 is awesome
I know of a DinkDoodler but no DInkDoodler. Sorry.

A christian

I have to admit that early muslim religion (i hope i writed that in a proper way) really has some good point of view for life, not like christianity (live like poor and humble idiot until you die). Also don't bother on comments from those that live in norden lands and see the sun once in a year. Tour in Syria, Jordan, lybia or some country like that is a thing i'm looking forward to.
KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!
Welcome back DinkDoodler.
I think religious debates online are very often quite ugly. If it wasn't like that when you joined we probably didn't talk about it. Unfortunately things seem to work this way.

The anonymity fuels the flames. Maybe we should just censor the whole internet

A Christian

Just saying. I'm christian, but I let others to believe in what ever they like. It's part of being a true christian. As for north cities, I only was in Helsinki. Nice town, but I wouldn't last long there. I guess I'm used to sun. And yes I was a little harsh. This is not a place to debate such things.
Bottom line. I think Religion should not be discussed here on TDN. Because it always leads to a fight.

We all need to keep an opened mind. Arguments are actually good for us, because they challenge ours beliefs and perceptions, help us to recognise and alter our misconceptions. Why hide in darkness and ignorance? We live in the "Information age" so let's inform and be informed.
Personally, I believe that religions are similar to politics in that none of them are infallible or absolutely right ("all animals are equal..." - Orwell), but combined, we can see a bigger picture, more of the truth, more sides of the dice.

As for me, I believe somewhat in all religions, while trying to take a scientific point of view as well. This is what I tried to say in one of the previous threads, while being a little too harsh towards some peoples' statements.

I... thanks, a Christrian. At least no fight on this thread.
