Wish u well ExD!
All the best to you and your family Exdeath, hope you are all ok! Also hope you can use the "flusher" on the toilet again soon and you get power to your computer back fast. Hopefully it isnt bad where you are.
Erkkk... way to wake up!
Erkkk... way to wake up!
Mostly just the aftershocks. I was awake all night in town though at an Internet cafe for an overnighter, and right out on the street when the dang thing happened talking to some mates after a game on Starcraft 2 (they smoke, so outside they go).
I have to say now, I'm okay and my family are okay. But that was NUTS!!
That report's "Early Saturday Morning" was around 4:35am by the way. Heck, I saw windows shatter on a bank from where I was standing but another friend of mine who was on the roads at the time saw one of the buildings collapse on a road NEAR him... That'd have been freaky.
Power's back on here, not sure when that happened because I went to sleep late in the morning (arrived home around 5:30a). Extensive road damage in places, particularly on our street. We've always wanted a speed bump though
I'll keep the comp off for now, switched it on to post an update on my sites and here so people know why ChanLog is offline. Feel free to change your topic title too; I think it isn't really explaining why you're wishing me well...
Edit: 2:53pm
Another aftershock while I was updating my last post. Very minor compared to the big bugger. Might switch ChanLog back on anyway.

We're still getting aftershocks too and I'm trying to keep the computer off, my cousin's had one practically explode during the quake.
More information
As of now, I will be offline until tomorrow.

Good that you're alright. This is why I love living in Finland, crazy stuff like this never happens here.

Australia. It just rains. And you get attacked by drunk bogans. And Drop-bears. And the occasional tourist.
You don't have a tourist hunting season there, Schnapp?

Between Dec and Jan we pull out the ol' Winchester

Also, beware of possum attacks.
DANG Quiz I used to have one of those as a pet when I was little, now I will have nightmares about them
We all mostly wore jeans/trousers back then and my grandmother always wore a dress like the lady she was, our pet possum (Tuppence) used to get a fright and run up our legs onto our heads and sit there nice and high with his tail hooked round your face - as I said my grandmother wore dresses and when she came to visit - he got a fright and headed for the nearest set of legs... under and up he went - as high as he could then came to a screeching halt when he hit the 'apple catchers' then went feral - ripping her to bits trying to get out - we laffed so hard at the bumps in her dress going nuts, that none of us could help her. Poor wee possum.
EDIT @Schnapps - I hope you load those suckers!!
