I'll make this quick as it's a nooby question :

Using WinDinkEdit how do you change the sound played when using a warp? In DinkEdit you'd press Shift-7 but that doesn't seem to work with WinDinkEdit. Basically, when going down stairs it plays the door noise, and I was wanting to make it play the stairs noise (sound number 39).

Sorry for the noobishness, but thanks to whoever helps me out!

The guy with the cute D-Mod.
Right click the stairs and hit 'Properties'. In the properties dialogue enter the sound number (39) in the 'Sound' box.

What you'll eventually learn interesting about WinDinkEdit is that it can do almost all the basic things that many do through scripts.

Think he means the basic stuff for setting up sprite behaviour... Brains, base_walk, speed, size, animation, sound, basic warps etc can all be done in the editor without needing scripts.
