Speedrunning Dink Smallwood
I made a speedrun of the original game earlier this summer, and I figured why not just finally upload it to Youtube? Be aware that the video quality is really bad and it lags like hell... I'm not using Camtasia Studio ever again.
I'll be uploading the other parts later on. I hope you enjoy it despite the poor quality If you have any comments, I'd be glad to hear them.
First part
Second part
Third part
Last part
EDIT: I've uploaded all the parts. I hope this run will inspire someone else to challenge my choice of route and strategies - I think under 34 or 33 minutes with this same route might be possible to do if mistakes are kept to minimum.

Nice.
By the way, I use camtasia for all my LP's I do and the quality is fine, you probably just need to configure your video codec you are using to capture your video.

^
I second that.
EDIT: Created a blog entry about this at DinkSmallwoodPT's website. Not really has anything to do with DSPT channel itself, but it deserves a mention nonetheless.

Yeah, that was my bad. Doing a test video AND ALSO WATCHING IT before recording the entire project would have helped things, I guess. I've learned my lesson
Should've asked you mighty DinkSmallwoodPT gurus for help first, dang it.
I also made a most hilarious mistake at 6:30 in the first part if you noticed..

Holy shi... what the... how quick did you do it??? Man, I'm lucky to get under 4 hours!
Oh that's crap. 4 hours to beat the original game?!
Fireball, the original game isn't that hard to beat in 30 minutes, I must say.
Fireball: 35 minutes Perhaps the original game should be classed as a romp?
Well, technically it should be. "Romp: A short adventure that is usually lasts less than an hour."
