Hi.
So, I don't seem to get any music when playing Dink.
Though I get sound effects and all that, but no music, which makes the game kind of quiet when walking around.

Would be great if someone could help me out.
Running on Windows XP.

Check out the volume options, and make sure SW Synth isn't muted.

Ah, there was the problem. My audio card was selected instead of the Microsoft SW Synth.
Thanks a bunch!

Tag - Umm.. tag, you're it?
You may have to check that SW Synth every so often as my computer somehow mutes it periodically *gremlins* and when you think you have fixed it - the derned thing mutes again *sighs* Welcome to DN

I think the gremlins live in Media Player

Whenever you play a midi in it it'll get all selfish and set everything so that only it can play midis from then on, unless you go behind its back and put SW Synth up again...

"My audio card was selected instead of the Microsoft SW Synth."

You-- buh, what? The audio control panel just shows volume channels on your audio card - the SW Synth is a part of it (the part that defines MIDI volume)!
