The Dink Network

Has any of you ever been able to walk on the trees? I found a place where dink mystically starts walking on trees, then enters some dark place, where you cant see anything else on the screen than Dink himself. If you walk around for a few screens you can see houses, islands, dink's home, almost any place in the entire game. This might have been a bug or something, because i am not able to do it again.

You may have walked through a gap in the "hardness" some of those tiles are a bit buggy ) If you wanted to do it again - you would have to find the gap again (retrace your/Dinks steps)

Well i tried, but i cant do it anymore for some reason. It was a nice way to shortcut to any place you wanted to go

If you want to be able to finish the game; don't talk to people at places that you aren't suppose to get to yet; this might cause variables to screw up.

The mountain gap was fixed in v1.08.

Hehe, I remember that. I used to walk by the mountain, over Martridge's houser and to the Darklands. Oh, good times.

Haha! Yes, I used to do that all the time. One of my friends showed me and we used it as a shortcut to get to Windemere and hence screw up the game. It was so cool.
