Re: Abandonwarical
Post some of your all-time favorite games turned Abandonware for fellow Dinkers to take a minor interest to, before they start beheading ducks again.
Anyway, I keep getting messages about this through Email because I joined their site last year, so Introducing Battlezone!

The Neverhood
A game made entirely in clay in '96. (3 tons of it to be exact) I highly recommend that you play through this game at least once before death knocks on your door. So much work lies behind it and it's design is superb. There's also a rumor that a movie based on the game will be released in 2011 strangely enough, so it's not that abandoned.

I found a good one, it's sort of like Zelda, but its rly funny. You start out as a farmer and you have to save the world. Check it out here
I remember playing a King's Quest game a long time ago.

I did as well, most awesome retro ever made IMO. Though, I only seem to enjoy Kings Quest IV: The Perils of Rosella which was the game I had as a kid.

And if you prefer decent graphics and much easier gameplay...

EDIT: There are also VGA versions for the other games in the series too, I think.

I've heard of Jack in the Dark, you think it's for DOSBox?
If it's a DOS game, it'll probably work under DOSBox too.
Dark Sun: Shattered Lands, one of my favorite DOS-era RPGs. It's pretty much the precursor to games like Baldur's Gate and the new Neverwinter Nights... only set in the magical post-apocalyptic world of Athas, where the gods are dead, the world is almost nothing but wasteland, elves are 7-feet tall, dwarves are bald, halflings eat everyone, and everyone has psychic powers.
And of course, Star Control 2, as Ur-Quan Masters
