This file includes all the SCRIPTS from Stone of Balance - not the graphics. For that, there is a separate file at the Stone of Balance Graphics Pack. That one, however, doesn't include the tiles, which you can get from the tiles folder of the actual dmod. Or, if you just want the desert tiles, you can download the Stone of Balance Desert Tiles.

Simon Klaebe's work is great, but I must chastise the man for having something of an annoying habit of milking so many little releases out of each dmod.

If memory serves, the first versions of Stone of Balance had .D'd scripts and .FF'd graphics (both of which need to be decrypted before you can look at them), so these files did at least have a reason to exist in the past. However, the recent versions of Simon's dmods are in a readily readable format, so there's no good reason to download them now. Just grab the actual dmod, and get everything you want directly from that.

-1.0 points for being just a script source with an unclear name. -5.0 points for being obsolete, bringing the total to 4.0 points.

The source to Stone of Balance lets you see how the author made things possible, such as the fireballs in the maze, the amazing quicksand, how a pissing Dink says something different depending on which screen he is on or how the riddles were done.
As far as I could see all the files are indented which is very handy since you then know immediately what the script is about or what it is supposed to do.
The D-mod has .c files, so there is not really a need for a separate file, but if you do not have the complete D-mod anymore, you can just download this file.

Hey... where did all the reviews go? Hmmm, I could give this 9.9 and ... nah what's the point. I'll give it 9.5

Pluses - well it's every script in SOB - mind you the current download version has all of these as it is as I released this file ages ago, long before rankings and points and reviews etc. Since then there's been a number of patches to SOB.

So I guess the big plus is... if you've deleted SOB and want to check say... how the riddle scripts worked... this is easier to download.

Anything else... hmmm no not really.
