Dink Smallwood & The End of Time
Dink visits the bowman from the original game and is sent on a quest to save time.
This DMOD is pretty solid. No bugs, pretty good map work, nice humour, but is let down by the amount of walking to get items. Back and forth, back and forth. As the author as come to realise (4 odd years later) this aspect does not make for good gameplay.
Graphics: New stuff for the end sequence
Map: Good, but the stairs in dungeons could’ve done with a bit more decoration to hide their straight edges. Loved the birds sound fx
Sounds: nice use of birds as atmosphere, nothing else outstanding
Music: generally very good. Liked most of it except for the music in the final area
Gameplay: not very exciting, didn’t die once. Worst was the amount of walking to get bombs or other items to continue the quest. Once, even twice you can tolerate, but not the amount of times in this DMOD
Bugs: None
Overall 8.0 out of 10

Dink Smallwood and The End of Time by Dan Walma
Dink must stop the end of time from happening and pays the price if he is able to.
The Good: The game was a familiar one, with Dink yelling I’m Bored every so often. After a tunnel appears, Dink is off on his adventure. The music was good, twittering birds and animal sounds were deep in the forest. This is a dmod for those who like Dink to walk back and forth, enough save spots. Not much fighting, I let the Goblins kill themselves and the others were easy pickings, but Dink gets a flying spell ( which only works in one spot). You had to remember a certain towns name…and my mind went blank, but all in all some clever little clues helped me along the way. Those blue rocks were in abundance here, and for a moment I forgot what dmod I was playing. (lol)
The Bad: As usual got to close to trees and had to restart the game a few times. As I said before, a lot of walking (for 1 bomb at a time) and only a few people walking about, most of which Dink had to kill. Just 1 juice bottle, no weapons, or money to be found.. A lot of trees and nice scenery, which made it, look forestry like, but no real towns to walk through and get extra information..
Overall: A nice dmod for those who really want to cruise through a dmod. No monsters to fight/kill, just the Goblins, and a lot of walking.

Dink finds a new adventure on the secret beach where he went to in the original game.
Storyline: Simple, yet well worked out.
Map and graphics: Nothing new, but everything is well done.
Music: Very good indeed. The birds on the background add a nice touch.
Good: The humour is very good. The flying spell is nicely down. The fights are well worked out: you don't think you are going to make it, but then you see some goodies, give it a try, and it turns out you can win after all. Very well done.
Not so good: There is an irritating noise in the bird sounds, like an old gramophone-record that has a scratch. The place where you use the last bomb doesn't give you enough room to backup, so you sustain damage. Some small hardness errors, mostly with trees. You get bored by walking back and forth to get yet another bomb. I hated the end. I find it totally out of place and it left me disillusioned; it was like a good movie with a very bad ending that casts its shadow so that the whole movie all of a sudden looses it's charm.
Overall: The D-mod is good, but the end really spoils everything.
Remark: If it wasn't for the terrible end, I would rate this one much higher.
Fit for: If you don't mind walking a couple of miles and can handle a very bad ending (well, perhaps you like it!) download this one, because the rest of the D-mod is good.

I loved this game! It started out with some excellent searches, then went down a little with the bomb-fetching, but it all is worth it when you hit that room full of potions!! The ending started out OK, but ended abruptly without giving Dink a chance.
And a nice memory back to the good ol' origional DINK, with a twist.
Again, the only bad thing was the bomb fetching section.

Dink, board out of his skull, asks for a quest this time, instead of someone asking him. His quest: save the world from destruction. Simple, monsterless little quest. Major bug free. A few hardness problems with trees. Would have recieved a higher score if it wasn't for the back and forth trips of bomb fetching. I was a little disappointed with the end, maybe if the author was to create a second that starts with dink breaking out of jail and traveling back in time to fix this destructive doing. (Hint, hint)
Nice graphics, slow moving Dink. Repetitious going back and forth for items need a bomb 4 times. No bugs or monsters, I like that.
Water fountain in one of the scenes severs a healer which gives you more like. This is good when fighting different characters. If you don't use the spacebar a lot you will have to repeat your routine because game won't let you go farther until each step is fulfilled.
Not to many battles in the beginning, toward the end lots with lots of soldiers but there are hearts and other magic potions in each goblin house where the fights take place. If you let Dink stand aside and kind of move him away the goblins beat each other to death so you only have to kill or or two. Watch and wait let them to all the work.
I liked this one so slimes but cute little fish that don't suck your life, no gray bug, I hate them, to boncas. Just good old people to goblins fight.
Surprise ending you don't expect.

A very nice game that is realated to the original game.
Good: the scenario is indeed great. It started with a little visit and ended...sorry I won't spoil the fun!
The forest makes sounds witch is also something I
have never seen in a dmod.
Bad:
So it's actualy like this "Go to rock, look at rock,go to bomb machiene take bomb go to rock,
blow up rock.Go to other rock, look at rock go to
machiene,take bomb,go to rock,blow up rock.Go to
other rock....."
