So, a virus has been put in the computer and Joseph Smallwood must kill it so he could become the overlord. This is one of the entries for the Evil Hero D-mod Contest which we will further call TEHDC.

Great:

Well, I thought the enemies were cool because they kept on changing into random items. The sword thing you get is funny because it looks like a fish in your inventory, it made me laugh out loud, because hey, have you ever seen a fish for a sword? Dink is really strong and he goes extremely fast which I also liked. The few midis that were used were really great, they seemed like they were in the right place, especially when you were running to meet the boss. The boss said such phrases as "LOL!" or "WTH?" That it made me believe I was battling an AOLer, which certainly took out a VERY large amount of stress I also liked the placement of tiles for the boss, it looked as if the whole world was almost broken down and I didn't have much time left.

Flaws:

I thought this d-mod wasn't too bad, but it certainly had its share of errors that made me feel the d-mod itself was infected by a virus... The first one occurs if you try to keep on walking to the right in the white-tiled computer place. You would go to a screen with grass, I think the author accidentally created an extra screen. One other problem happens when you try to read the note in a village house. It's impossible, the problem here is either the author didn't attatch the script to the sprite or the note was so far on the tables that instead of trying to interact with the note, Dink tried to interact with the table. And the final error was that you couldn't save at the last save machine. Although I've only listed 3 flaws the d-mod is so short that every error makes a big impact on gameplay. Other overall flaws were the grammar, sentence structure, and spelling. But problems in the environment weren't the only faults here. The end seemed rather rushed as if the writer decided to make this compatible with TEHDC at the last minute. It might of been a plot twist, but if it was, it was very poorly executed. The plot was in no means brilliant and certainly made me disappointed.

Outcome:
5.9

Not really a bad d-mod, but it has some obvious flaws. Good job on your first d-mod, Blue, just remember your mistakes and make sure they are never seen again for your next one.

This DMOD was a waster of time. I have many reasons why.
Story
Dink's world is infected with a virus and Dink has to kill a Wizard.
5/10
Sound
The sound was very bland and repetitive.

Mapping and Scripting
The Mapping: Seizure-worthy, as I call it. Meaning, the sprites are disgusting to look at. Half the sprites are quick flashing trees, and the other half are white objects with no colour at all.
The Scripting: Not too bad. The final boss was impossible making this game very boring and non enjoyable. you start with a boat load of stats, that can be quickly gained from enemies, but the downside is how low your HP is. If it was at least 40-50, the boss could be killed. The boss is a clone of Seth, only with a Wizard graphic. This means the boss has 300 HP. You can drain the boss of his health fairly fast, but the problem is he can kill you in 1-2 hits, depending on how much damage you took from the pill bugs and boncas. If you have the patience to let the monsters re-spawn, you might have a better chance at the boss. Another problem is, the monsters take 4 or 5 minutes to re-spawn.
2/10
Replay Value
I never beat this game.
NA/10
Overall and Final Comments
Overall, this is a mediocre DMOD that is almost impossible and is too short to be able to build suspense, or mystery. These two elements are what make a DMOD good, and since this DMOD doesn't have them, it's crap.

GlennGlenn doesn't want a custom title.
Well.. it is about a virus who is going to shut down the computer in 2 minutes.
__________________________________________________________________________

Graphics: The graphic were as usual, but in the game, Blue has set many graphics on brain 9, which makes them spin.. That was the virus that cAuses that, I think.

Music: Fitted the situations.

Map; Well, the map was a litle crappy. More detailing will do the job.

Overall: It was good for Blue's first D-Mod.

This D-mod is one of the five entries in the Evil Hero D-mod Contest (the other ones are Beginning of Evil, Mayhem, Rascal and Twins).

Storyline: Dink is inside a computer that has a virus.

Map and graphics: The title screen is done very good. Just what you expect when you see the title. The buttons are done in the same style and it looks very good indeed.

Music: Nice music, especially in the beginning of the game.

Good: The idea is very nice and the twist in the story at the end too. The moving chest looks funny, but I do not think it was intended this way.

Not so good: There are no borders on the first and second screen and the intro repeats itself when you enter the first screen again. The sprites on the third and fifth screen have brain 6 so they move – the same goes for some screens in the village. There are no savebots in the caves although there are four screenlocks after each other, then two screens with bonca’s and then another two screenlocked screens. A lot of sprites have the same script, which seems odd since you have already read that information. The people in the village do not add anything to the story. And I had a hard time understanding the story since the information you get is very minimal. The end boss is very strong and you can not level up enough due to lack of ways to get healed and save the game in the caves.

Overall: A rather bugged D-mod.

Fit for: If you do not mind some bugs and like to fight.

A strange DMOD, short and painful to play. I liked the rapidly changing graphics meant to symbolise a virus infected world. But that’s were the potential of this DMOD ends. The player fights through screen after screen of boring pillbug enemies until reaching a wizard whose script is a direct rip off from Seth, but replaces Seth with a green wizard dude. After dying a couple of times to this dude, I just upped my stats to beat him as I couldn’t be bothered going back to level up by fighting pillbugs or boncas.

Overal 4 out of 10. Don’t bother with this one.

Well... i was hoping people will wite some rewievs, but only nunzilla wrote one, so i decided to write a rewiev by myself. so here it goes:

Graphics: No new graphics, but therandom item monsters were quite nice, also the end boss tiles were placed (i think) quite good.

Sound: only 3 midis, bnut i think they fited situation- like runing to the boss and so.

the fun part: well, a fish-sword , boss words like stop farting and start fighting, also the signs and so were nice... atleast for me.

Bugs: In version 1.1 arent any bugs (or atleast i didnt found any), but i think i left some langiage mistakes.. shoot happens... just the ending... still didnt think what to do to it... maybe i think ill make and a screen with joseph killin innocient people and so...
