I'm sorry to hear your life isn't turning out the way you would have liked. It may sound corny, but these are pretty hard times, what with being unable to find a decent job and all.

Honestly, I'm pretty much in the same situation as you. I'm not looking for a job, the only thing I do is go to college, but still, I'm unsure what to do next, and I don't feel any motivation to do anything. I've been with my girlfriend for 5 years, and I don't have anything to complain about, but still, I find myself unhappy, and I'm thinking about quitting the relationship, but I imagine being much worse off if I did that.

Usually when you're unhappy, it's tough to think things will get better. In fact, that's one symptom of being unhappy: lack of faith in improvement. But you know, things don't stay the same for very long. Life is constantly changing, and although it is hard, I think one should try to realize that.

And when everything else fails, you can alway start using drugs!
