Most of my LAN parties consisted of maybe 8 - 15 people and we'd usually just find a game that we all wanted to play it till we got bored and wanted to play something else. Usually, just that is enough to take up an entire night.
Back in the day, we usually played HL Deathmatch, Unreal Tournament, Tribes, or Giants. Sometimes Counterstrike would be thrown in, but usually under great protest from people who sick of it.
