After checking my repair status online, it would be appear that I no longer have any registered devices. From what I have heard on the interweb, this means my console is being replaced with a different one.
I'm hoping it will be a new one, though I fear it's rather more likely that Microsoft will patch me up another broken console with sticky back plastic. We must wait and see.
