I was wondering about something. Wouldn't a "Dink Magazine" be cool? It wuldn't be a magazine as such, but perhaps a monthly download which included articles on numerous Dink related things. For example, it could have a Q&A section on scripting, and maybe a walkthrough for a d-mod.

Items could also include features on upcoming or already released d-mods, and interviews with authors. It could give it's own review score to newly released d-mods (perhaps given a pre-release version so a pre-emptive review can be made, and this score (a percentage) could (if the author wished) be put on the title screen.

Different dinkers could do "freelance" work for it (in that, I mean those who don't put together the magazine regularly) such as : Simonk doing a section on creating new enemies (his speciality, in my opinion), or a look into the history of the DN, and the rise of its current *STARS* such as Simonk, and to a lesser extent Tyrsis, as well as a look at the legends of the DN such as Gary Hertal, Wesley, and the great Mike Snyder.

Perhaps a section.."On the board..." discussing goings on on the board (if anybody was flaming, or any interesting topics that arose).

I realise some of these things are done in a smaller form (interviews by PureEvil) but I can't help but feel that more is better.

Anybody else like the idea? And if so, who would be interested in taking part?

The other part to my question was that most Dinkers are doing it simply as fun, and a creative outlet. Many Dinkers are still in their early teens however, and I wonder if any have aspirations of entering the game design world?

Phew...I'm tired of typing!
