: Another possible addition for the non-threaded outline is to add another column to show who posts the last reply on that thread. That might make the non-threaded one even better. 
Or have the number in the replies column turn to yellow so you know there has been a new post. Unless you can memorize the numbers of each post and know when a new post was made. Or maybe the new icon could return by the thread whenever a new post was made to that thread. I don't know. I'm still trying to get used to this....
