ok, i just checked out the description for my "applying palettes in the GIMP" program. what the hell were you thinking?
first off, it's called the GIMP. that's G - I - M - P. secondly, gimp is NOT, i rpeat, it is NOT an exclusively linux program. There is a windows port, it runs very well, although i haven't played with it much.
If you are going to write the descriptions yourself, can you please refrain from this "ditching" of anything which is remotely open source? I mean, i don't expect you to like the file, but the least you could do is give the goddam file an accurate description.
and in case you cannot tell, i am angry. why? because this is the sort of thing which really irritates me: mindless trashing of other peopl's work, without any regard of how much time, effort and knowledge has gone into it.
I don't mean this to be personally insulting, but this sort of thing really riles me. >
