I think that Banana Poleaxe sucks. Of course, it does have high dps (64.7), but it still is a two-handed weapon. I'd recommend getting the Spirit of the Iceland, a one-handed sword. 40.5 dps should be enough for lvl 50 character (If you don't go pvp) plus it gives +12 strength, +5 defense and +10 to spirit. Also, it has got about 20% chance on hit to cast Ice bolt on the enemy, which deals 35-43 damage and decreases the attack and movement speed of the target by 30%. And if you get a shield with good block rating, like Milders Guard, you should have no problems when killing normal monsters. I think the sword was dropped from Lesser Ice Dragons or Frozen Ravagers. Can't remember where the shield was dropped from though.
