It's been quite some time since I posted here. (I've been away from Dink for a little while because of exams and an annoying-too-long-lasting-cold.)

But I'm ready to keep on working on Survival now so let's get back to the point.

*Milk

I'll make it possible to buy milk and maybe I'll make it possible to find milk. (I'm not sure about this yet maybe I'll let Dink randomly find female boncas to milk in the wilderness.) You can buy milk at your-local-cow-possessing-farmer but he only has a limited supply of milk. The cows he has will re-supply him over time so you can buy more milk if you like. Drinking milk will increase your defence according to this:

*MILK LEVELING!!*

Each milk level will increase your defence.

MILK LEVEL 1 requires: 10 milk
MILK LEVEL 2 requires: 50 milk
MILK LEVEL 3 requires: 140 milk
MILK LEVEL 4 requires: 300 milk
MILK LEVEL 5 requires: 550 milk

If you've reached milk level 5 you've gained 5 defence (and you really love milk).

*Vitamins

Fruit and vegetables contain healthy vitamins. Just like food and drinks you'll get stronger when you've eaten them. The fewer vitamins your blood contains the more chance there is to get diseased by certain creatures (see below). If your "vitamin meter" reaches 100% you are immune to disease but as soon as it drops to 99% there is a tiny little chance to get diseased.

*Disease

Some creatures carry diseases. If you get hit by such creatures there's a chance that you get diseased. Once you're diseased some things could happen (ideas would be nice) like getting weaker or your health could decrease over time. You can cure simple diseases by sleeping once you have a high vitamin level (80-100%) or to drink a cure disease potion (See below for alchemy) or to simply visit your local healer. Stronger and more dangerous diseases can only be cured by skilled healers or strong potions.

*Alchemy

I'm planning to improve my "alchemy system" I used in "Dink Goes Hunting" and to implant it in Survival. In Dink Goes Hunting you could make potions by mixing food with a mortar and pestle. In Survival you can make several potions by mixing different kind of ingredients (Mushrooms for example). You can find ingredients in forests or buy them from alchemists. Instead of making potions you could buy them if you have enough gold. You can make quite the living out of alchemy because you can sell ingredients or potions. To start alchemy you need a mortar and pestle, a bottle and some ingredients (maybe I'll add more alchemy tools but this would only make things too complicated I fear and too much like Morrowind or Oblivion ). You do not need to know the formulas of the potions to begin alchemy (though it is really useful to know what you're doing ). Formulas can also be purchased by your local alchemist but it's cheaper to find out yourself (unless you waste too many ingredients).

*Alcohol

I'm improving my "alcohol system" and moving it to Survival.
It will mostly be the same as in Dink Goes Hunting but it will work much better and being drunk will be much more fun. Right now I think I'll let Dink puke and make a cut scene appear when he's drunk. The cut scene’s can be done by the authors themselves but I will still make an example to demonstrate the fun .
And for those who haven't played Dink Goes Hunting yet I'll explain the effects of alcohol (the alcohol in Dink Goes Hunting not the real alcohol, find that out for yourself ). Alcoholic drinks will change your stats. Your attack will increase and your magic and defence will decrease. In Dink Goes Hunting there was also a crazy wizard that made magic alcohol. This magic alcohol could increase your defence or magic instead of attack. Note that all alcohol needs time to take effect and to wear off.

I think that is about it. Please tell me how you people think about it and if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.
