You could also take the Dink (with sword) graphics and modify them to a zombie version by changing the coloring a bit. That might be too tedious, though, 'cause you'll need 4 walking sequences (8 frames each), 4 hitting sequences (6 frames) each + some smoke puff for the death frame.

Then again, doing graphics from scratch... much more work
