The fountain that turns you into a duck is there for a reason. Just turn yourself into a duck and talk to the pig(you can do that once you're a duck). The pig will tell you that another duck is down to the southwest. 
When you've found the duck, talk to the duck and you'll get Duck magic, useful for defeating the final boss.
