keep it real
: Oh my god, you said something smart  (Not meaning to be rude or anything, it's just.. you know

: I only listen hiphop and what's on the radio&tv is not the best out there nor doesn't it represent *real* hiphop.  I'm talking about fake-ass-gangsters and others such as Nelly, DMX & crew, Dr Dre & everyone who got there thanks to him, etc...  And lots of people who say they love hiphop and only listen hiphop (& r&b ofcourse) usually can only come up with these names.  I'm not saying neither that these artist are bad, I listen to all of them myself and enjoy it for what it's worth.

: But you don't know what hiphop is until you've sampled work from artists like:

: KRS-ONE (The teacher!)

: Arrested Development

: Wyclef Jean

: Gangstar (Guru)

: NWA (fake, but classic)

: Jurassic 5 (new old-skool)

: Rakim

: Early Ice Cube, Nas, Ice T & Wu-Tang Clan is good too

actually, i was mostly just making a joke with the whole backstreet boys... elvis... thing. but anyway...

i have a KRS-ONE type in my room, amongst a couple hundred other types i bought but have no listened to. maybe i will check it out.

(in case you are wondering why i have types i do not listen to: i bought them on ebay or something mixed with a bunch of types for bands that i like. a lot of them suck so i dont listen to them, or i just dont have the patience (hip hop/techno/new wave). i also have about 150/300 vinyl records to listen to from my parents. those all suck too.)
