Don't defend yourself like you're addicted to it.
Add that to the quotes.
My three points of advice:
1- Stop pointing out the obvious and posting (seemingly) merely for the sake of posting, even if you call it playing along the joke or something.
2- Always defending your own posts makes you look like you think that you're never wrong, and it spoils a discussion. (You do admit to be wrong sometimes (it makes you look better) but only on minor issues ofcourse...)
3- You try to end threads a lot, not by officially asking for a thread to be closed, but rather by posting very serious posts in nonsense threads and the other way round. Also stop your objective of posting one post about your DMOD every day.
Summary:
You may post, but you don't have to post. It doesn't boost your stats or something. And it doesn't earn you respect either.
