Mmprobably because I don't go out much. But I think I heard my sister say a short while ago that a friend of hers works there.
I can't suggest much, because I'm not really an outgoing person. The place to start going out would probably the Leidseplein though, most main theaters, cafes, cinemas and stuff like that are around that place.
