Probably true, though I think we're just one of these rare cases in the animal world in which 2 opponents become friends. Like a crocodile and a duck. Or a mouse and a cat.
My aunt once had a goldfish which jumped out of the bowl and her cat sat next to it, saw it happen and began making wailing noises for so long my aunt came to check it out, and she put the goldfish back in the bowl. It lived for another year or so. See, that's rare and friendly
Chris and I am like that I suppose. Although we don't make wailing noises if one of us falls out of bed.
