Unless you actually want and believe you can pull off some kind of polyamorous relationship with them (usually very unlikely, especially in situations similar to how yours sounds), it would be the most socially acceptable to stay with the girl you're with now. That way, if it goes sour, you have a slightly better chance of getting back together with the old gf.
You'd also want to look at whether or not you'd want to go back to the same relationship you had with the old gf (both the good and the bad), because, odds are, it will be pretty much the same.
