Try putting a say command in that section? If that doesn't work, then your if statement is probably screwed up. Are you on the right screen? Also, is it attatched to the screen? Maybe you forgot to attatch the script to that screen?

Edit: Since there is a talk procedure I guess it's not attatched to the screen
