If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
: I thought I had found a perfect match for a Dink Network file mirror... $95.40 for a year, 350MB of storage, 45 GB of transfer... but it turns out they're not so reputable.
: First of all, the File Mirror would be a companion web site to The Dink Network, and just host files. It would have its own web design and such, but would only keep track of the file size/date/times downloaded.
: So does anyone know of any good, preferably inexpensive, web hosts? I've been looking around, and while I have a few leads, none fit our needs.
: So what are our needs? At least 300 MB of storage, preferrably around 500 MB. With 300 MB we can fit most D-Mods on the server, with 500 MB we should be able to put everything on it and be pretty well set for Simon's next D-Mod, which political analysts and weather forcasters expect to range in around 100 MB, and cause heavy rain.
: I'm not sure how many GB/month we need... I'm guessing 20-30. Pilgrim's Quest alone has transferred 10 GB in a week, but it is huge and popular... I can't guess what the overall usage would be.
: So if you know of any sites that match those criteria, please let me know. Thanks.
I would suggest linuxworks, but it's ew zealand based, and all you americans etc. would have to put up with the slow speeds across the southern cross cable...
have a look at the python site, at the "python friendly web hosts", there is a list of commercial ones there...
