That's... so sad. Me too though... cept I went 12,000 miles away... from cobblestone streets and buses and people and family and friends... to heat, and 'the scrub' and small-town living... on the other side of the world. Now, I've come back... for a while at least... and yeah, its changed. The feel of the place has been trampled on in many aspects... but every now and again, as I wander the streets, most particularly when I'm alone...I can sense it in the air... what it used to be... what, in part, it still is... and just sometimes, I wake up feeling like myself. But to come back... meant leaving what had become 'home', and family and friends all over again... but perhaps that's the price one pays.

Now though, that I'm reawakening part of me that always remained in the cobblestone streets... I've realised that 'home' isn't this place, and its not bonnie Oz either... its with the people left behind, either way.
