Holy crap I didnt think that anyone would notice my absence, my absence even cause a few discussions\arguments wow. Thanks guys, yes I am alive and she dogin. Most of my town is relativeley flat, my house was saved...somewhat. No real structural damage to my house just a hella lot of water. I gutted out my house (it is bare studs and floor now) and am living at my grandmothers house. I read some of the posts from the other threads so: Most of the things on the news is false and over exagerated, New Orleans is a stupid CNN hog, FEMA is egually as stupid as New Orleans, insurance companies trump them all in stupidity. Our McDonalds is up so I wont starve ^_^. Things are slowly trying to get back up around here and little by little people are returning. I was not here when it hit, I was in Mobile when it hit (southern tip of Alabama), but I will admit it was pretty hard to look at when I came back the day afterwards. I have been with out internet access/computer/eletricity/phone service/pretty much everything else for a long time. I do have to give props to the ARMY, they have helped a lot around here, not really as peace keepers, but they gave out MRE's water and other various supplies. Everybody is really helping out, people are coming to gether (inspirational music plays in background)but it will still be a long time before life ever goes back to normal round here
