Chop your own wood, and it will warm you twice. 
Apple tree is a tree that apples grow in it(sorry for my bad english ). If apples would be stuck in branches, I would have seen them when I looked in the tree. If they would be at the other side, I would have seen them when I looked down. But I didn't see apples.
