:: RPG's should be about role-playing a character, not simply walking between screens killing things so you can finally (after X hours) move onto the next area. Levelling up is one thing, having to repeatedly kill the same enemies (which I found you had to do with TCS) is NOT fun.
: Levelling up is a part of an RPG...but it should take a back seat compared to story etc.
Which is why I wholeheartedly cheat with no shame lmao. Once I kill enemies a few times to answer : Can I kill them? What is the trick to it? Am I suppose to be able to kill these? etc, I use Ultimate Cheat "kill enemies" to get rid of them quickly. Some enjoy the long battles, for me it gets old, and I just want to end the battle fast to get on with the secret/story hunting. I figure, it works out the same way, without the cheats I'd sit in drudge and spend the time to kill them, wishing I didn't have to, but knowing I do. With the cheats I don't have that dread, and my Dink gets to level up the same as it would if I did. So it's all good
