: I have got to the 'dark land' in POTA and have disabled the generator (although this doesnt seem to do anything???) I am now going through the castle and cannot see what I supposed to do there - there are a couple of 'floor presses' that I have walked over that dont seem to do anything and also there is one coridoor that has a fire curtain that kills me everytime I go past.

You must push the statues on the floor "presses" (buttons) to fix them. Then there will be no fire curtain.
