If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
I also found two other ways of editing a DMOD. The first one is to open DinkFrontEnd, select the DMOD, then click "Edit". The other way... I'm not sure it's good, but it worked. I copied the DinkEdit.exe file in the DMOD folder, and run it from there.
