It's hard to get that much help without it becoming the other persons' project. Just start out simple and trust that you'll learn as you go.
A good head start is to adopt an "unfinished" Dmod and build on that. (I also left a standing offer that anyone who wants to could build on Chaos.- it may as well be considered unfinished.)
